Alhaurin el Grande is  a picturesque Spanish village situated in a quiet country area about 15km from Fuengirola  and the lovely beaches of the Costa del Sol. It is a vibrant typically Spanish village full of bars and restaurants ideal for a quiet get away in easy reach of all amenities. It is about 35mins drive from Malaga, Marbella, and the world renowned Puerto Banus, 90 mins from Gibraltar and 2 hours from the ‘must visit’ Ronda.  It is only 15 mins from Mijas, a popular tourist town with mule taxis and horse drawn carriages. There are 5 golf courses within 15 minutes drive and the ski resort of Sierra Nevada is 2 hours away.
